East is East. West is West.

Have you seen “East is East“?  It’s fantastic.

My favorite scene is the children trying to hide the sausages they were cooking when their Muslim father came home early.  Very, very funny.

Now there is a sequel!  “West is West“

The youngest Khan is sent off to live with Mrs. Khan #1 in Pakistan!  Mrs. Khan #2 goes sort everything out which should be splendid to watch but very painful for Mr. Khan.

It was shown at the Toronto film festival but the official release isn’t until February 2011 in the UK so who knows when it might show up here.  Perhaps the Broadway Theatre will have it?  Or we’ll have to wait for it to be released on DVD.  Argh!
