A godless camp.

I so wish that Camp Quest existed in Saskatchewan.  My children would love to go to an overnight camp but every single one that I’ve found here is a Bible camp.  Every one.  The signs are sometimes misleadingly neutral but the truth is somewhere in the text.  Any mention of time for “fellowship” is a dead giveaway as is “witnessing.”

I completely understand why there are so many Christian camps.  Christians want to spread the word of Jesus Christ and are willing to donate both time and money to do so.  Therefore, camps are built and staffed through significant volunteer input.

We need an atheist, secular overnight camp.  I do not need another volunteer project but this one is probably worth the effort.
