Toys for young earth creationists.
December 24, 2009
Just in time for Christmas!
I was in a toy store today with my children and noticed something odd about this toy. Do you see it?
I see dinosaurs WITH PEOPLE! And then, after I noticed the first one, they were everywhere!
Aaaargh! I know. I know. Some people will say “It’s only a toy” but that is exactly how wrong assumptions are established. Things that we learn as children seem true to us regardless of what we learn to be true later in life. This kind of “knowledge” is so difficult to overcome.
The last dinosaur died about 65 million years ago. The earliest Homo sapiens appeared about 200,000 years ago.
Do not buy these toys.

This is really frustrating to see – there was even a Fed-Ex commercial that depicted this last year.
Isn’t it annoying?
I might go to our school and do a quick sweep through the lower grade classrooms to see if any of these toys have made their way in. Dinosaur toys? Great. Dinosaurs with men? Bad.
Wait, what? You mean the great historical docu-drama, “Caveman”, is a lie??
I’m sorry to be the one to destroy your delusion!
But who’s gonna tell Ringo?
Does that mean the Flintstones should be verboten, too?
