Cabbie Cat Fight?

I saw this tonight on CBC News (you know … that 10 minute segment of local news around 11 pm?):
Cabbie says rival punched him over prime spot
Of course it’s wrong to punch anyone over a parking spot but what are the Comfort Cab drivers thinking? Why are they parking in spots clearly marked as being reserved for the other taxi companies in town? Those companies have paid for the spots. Maybe they should be at City Hall finding out when those spots come up for renewal and applying for a share of them. Breaking the rules isn’t going to build up public sympathy for their cause.
And Blueline should have a chat with their drivers about assaulting people over a parking space.
All of this just makes me want to completely avoid taking taxis in Saskatoon.
