Ahava and Oxfam

August 7, 2009

Let me get this straight.

Kirsten Davis endorses Ahava cosmetics which are made in Israel.

Kirsten Davis is a spokesperson for Oxfam.

Oxfam doesn’t like Ahava because “Ahava is made by Dead Sea Cosmetics in the Mitzhe Shalem Jewish settlement in the West Bank.”

Oxfam will not use Kirsten Davis as a spokesperson as long as she endorses Ahava.

I get it.

Note to self:

1.  Don’t donate to Oxfam.

2.  Buy Ahava cosmetics.

I’m having a Oxfam Wild Flower fund raiser in celebration of women’s day inspired by Bees, Butterflies and Blooms. Please check my last blog and if you feel it a worthy cause publicize on twitter or facebook. Cheeky I know but I feel it a great cause!
