It’s called a Palo Verde Root Borer. Fantastic. The cats think it’s great though…crunchy.

The wife wasn’t too happy. She stepped on one bare footed while walking around the deck of our pool. My wife isn’t petite, yet the root borer survived. You’ll need a hammer to squish one of these!
