The Air Miles Reward Program sent the following “travel alert”:
UNITED STATES- California gay marriage opponents gear up for rallies Details
Seriously? That’s the travel alert? Oh noes! Gay marriage supporter will be rallying and marching and carrying banners! Beware!
When I signed up for travel alerts, I was expecting warnings like severe weather, striking flight attendants, and terrorism risk levels. Not massive deployments of rainbow flags.
Luckily, Zombie as covered just such a rally in San Francisco. Doesn’t look dangerous although your eyes and ears might be assaulted by offensive slogans and posters.
Of course, if you look hard enough, you also will see what Zombie rightly called “an effective protest message”.
