Harumph.

April 29, 2009

The sad day that I’ve been kind of pretending would never come has finally arrived.  Crazybengal has flown south, not just for a winter but for good.

And now I’m sad.  I feel lost.

I’m slightly in awe of people throughout history who moved away from friends and family not knowing if they would ever see each other again.  Some even knew that they would not and yet they moved because it was the best choice for them and their families.   I know that I will see my friend again.  We will blog and e-mail and call and write.  She is not lost to me.

Even knowing that my heart hurts.

In my friend, I find a second self. – Isabel Norton

I watched the pilot/miniseries again last night; maybe I will watch it all again. The last episodes are out on DVD here in the UK on the 1st of June; I’ve got them all already on Sky on my laptop, but I’ll get the DVDs when they come out so I can watch them on TV. Between now and then though, maybe I’ll just work my way through the rest of BG. A fantastic series; obviously I’m a huge fan.
