Maybe not such a big faux pas for Obama.

I was prepared to ridicule the Obamas’ gift to the Queen of an iPod preloaded with Obama’s speeches and photographs among other things. It also seemed possible that the entire incident was an elaborate April Fools’ Day prank.
However, the gift doesn’t seem so bad in light of what the Obamas received from the royal couple … a framed, autographed photograph of the Queen and Prince Phillip. Seriously.
I’m not surprised. The Governer General gives the same kind of gift.
