The Bachelor – Jason

As you may recall, I live blogged The Bachelorette last season and was quite shocked (well not really) when DeAnna chose snow boarding OCD Jesse over Jason.  Grounded, normal, Jason.  Jason who has a real job.  Now Jason is The Bachelor.  And I couldn’t help but stay up ’til midnight last night to watch the whole sordid deal.

The recap was tedious.  The clips of this season’s chics were sort of funny…and scary, like, did they go out of their way to pick crazy girls or what?

Dominique – crazy.

Jackie – crazy.

Jillian – crazy (why?  The hot dog topping thing…duh)

Renee…uhhhh….crazy CooCoo for Coco Puffs!  She cuts out pictures and words from magazines and pastes then on a poster…my 8 year old does that.

Sharon – ca-raazy.

Poor Jason.

When the girls were finally paraded out of the limos, the most beautiful, and probably the most normal seeming girl was Nikki.  And guess what?  She got the first rose.  Of course.  Cause Jason is normal and knows hot, and sane, when he sees it.   (WHAT the Hell is happening on House right now??  Never mind – must focus).

Anyhoo – not too impressed with the Survivoresque voting  a girl off the island thingy – and not impressed that the girl that was “voted out” was actually given a rose.  At least it looks like the girls “voted out” the right one – Megan seems coarse and crass and bitchy.  I don’t think Jason will keep her.

I don’t know why he kept Naomi and Lisa, but whatever.  Stephanie seems nice…but sort of like she has had work done or something.  She looks plastic.  And Raquel seems sort of crazyish too.  Her eyes are set too wide…

Anyway.  I guess I will have to continue to watch The Bachelor because the bastards played some sneak peeks at the end of the show and revealed that DeAnna is coming back…that she thinks she made a mistake…WTF??  So Jesse wasn’t the love of her life??  Really?  No shit?  Must.  See.  This.  Damn.  Sucked in.
