I was always told that God helps those who help themselves…yeah. Exactly.
I adopted without pleading for money. No church bake sales or neighborhood yard sales (I see that a lot). Even when I lost my job two months before I was to get her, I didn’t ask for help. Especially not from STRANGERS. I’ve always hated seeing these sob stories.
So, if they’re really, reeeeeeaaaaally worthy, they should be able to find the money under their bed. The Lord provides, but should make them work for it…
We also adopted…we saved money and did it ourselves. Without begging.
I knew there was a reason I liked this blog…

Minutes ago, the kid revealed her master plan to drive me nuts. I keep telling her it’s too late!
You see…when there are two…they conspire…and are much more effective.
LOL on the one hand I can see that, on the other hand, conspiracy time would cut into sibling spat time…that I would have to break up…
