It’s Victory in Iraq Day.  Read all of the details at Zombietime (including a list of some of the hundreds of blogs participating in the celebration).  Suffice it to say that we’ve won.  There is still work to do and troops will remain in Iraq for some time but the surge was a success and the war is won. Soldiers and civilians alike are reporting drastic changes in Iraq.


If you meet a soldier today, say thank you and congratulations.
