I’m going to scream.
My daughter brought home her report card today. She’s met expectations for communicating her “learnings.” WTF?
What is that? Who first used “learnings”? IT’S NOT A WORD! Ugh.
I don’t even like “learning” used as a noun but I kind of understand. BUT … you don’t make it plural. Do you say “she was doing the cookings”? Or “I like runnings”? NO.
What’s wrong with knowledge? Or understanding? Or comprehension?
I’m not the only one who hates this word.
