Speaking of energy efficiency … regular lightbulbs are considered inefficient because much of the energy used by the bulb is not used to create light but lost as heat. This is only really a problem if you have a light on during a hot summer day. Hmmm. I don’t usually have lights on when it’s sunny. And in the winter, when we have more lights on for longer, energy converted to heat is not a bad thing.
Will Easybake Oven become obsolete if incandescent lightbulbs disappear from stores?
