I come from a long line of Joes — people who work hard for their money and don’t want the government to redistribute their “wealth” to those who chose to avoid work. How dare the liberal media attack Joe Wurzelbacher? Why does he have to justify his credentials as an American citizen with the right to vote and to question those who seek to represent him in government? The issue isn’t who he is but what Obama said: “I think when you spread the wealth around it’s good for everybody.” I disagree. I am Joe.

Read Iowahawk’s post. No one should be making money off of Joe except Joe.
I’ll just make my own shirt, thanks.

I am Joe too! I am in “the 95%” that Obama proposes to cut taxes on but have the American dream to be in the other 5%–that’s the American Dream, who doesn’t have that at sometime in their lives?
When is it going to resonate with the American people that when a plumber like Joe Wurzelbacher gets criticized, ALL of us “average Joe Americans” get criticized? I want a leader who thinks the best of me and and gives me ample opportunity to succeed but not at the expense of the “Joe’s” of this world who have earned their success the old fashioned way.
Good post. Thanks for letting me comment.
