McCain – Palin T-shirts DIY
I saw a parent at our school sporting a huge image of Obama’s face on a t-shirt with some appropriate slogan about change, uh, hope, uh, change, uh, whatever. Did you notice that I live in Canada? This man is not American, can’t vote in America, and really ought to be more concerned about the current federal election here in Canada. (Although, is there anyone anywhere wearing a shirt with any of the Canadian candidates?)
And really … an Obama shirt?
I wanted a McCain-Palin shirt to wear but the official ones are dull. There are others available online and some are very tempting but I don’t want to pay for shipping/duty and I want my shirt now. Right now. Yep, cheap and impatient is the mother of invention.
Thank goodness for Avery T-shirt transfers and a home printer. I made my t-shirt this morning and it’s quite nice, if I do say so myself.
(If you try this yourself, don’t forget to print in mirror image. And cut out the design very close to the edges. And choose a shirt that’s not too stretchy. And I’ll stop now.)
