Last week I read a review of So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD) Canada.  I can’t find it right now but the reviewer really liked the show and felt that there were better dancers in Canada.  Just given sheer numbers, I find that a bit hard to believe but whatever.  I forgot to even watch the show until just now.

How is it?  There are quite a few really interesting and entertaining dancers.  And Blake McGrath is annoying.  He just argued with the judges to put someone through to choreography!  And they let him!

The reviewer was correct that there are more talented dancers in the episode.  However … I think I’ve figured out why.  Canadians are nice.  Canadian TV producers are nice, too.  They don’t show the really hideous dancers or the funny ones or the delusional ones.  Or maybe Canadians are better about not trying out if they really can’t dance.  Don’t know.

Will I watch more?  If I happen to stumble across it but I don’t know if I’ll make it a point.  Too many good shows are starting and I’d rather watch The Unit.
