The chicken pox vaccine is working – fewer cases, fewer severe cases, fewer hospitalizations, and fewer deaths.
Excellent.
Even babies too young to have received the vaccine are benefiting from herd immunity.
Did you know that the CDC recommends a booster varicella vaccination for kids ages 4 to 6? I hadn’t heard that in the Canadian press. Looks like I’ve got an appointment to make.
