More politically incorrect elementary school crafts.

In fifth grade science, after studying electric circuits, we made lamps from aluminum cans. I made one as a Christmas gift for my grandfather. It looked like this (minus the lampshade):
Yep. That’s a Budweiser can. The King of Beers. Grandpa’s favorite.
I also made a lovely oak leaf ashtray for my mom in 3rd grade. I think every kid in the 70′s made an ashtray at school. Didn’t everyone’s parents smoke?
