Barenaked Disappointment

“I don’t want to read that.”
That was my husband’s response to seeing the news that Barenaked Ladies singer Steven Page was arrested in New York on charges of cocaine possession.
So disappointing. There was a sense that the Barenaked Ladies were the good guys, successful musicians who weren’t susceptible to the excesses of fame. Perhaps there is a logical explanation and he’ll be exonerated but I can’t imagine what that would be.
