Am I too old or is it the XX thing?

I love Neighborhoodies. You can custom design your own t-shirt or hoodie. It’s easy to do, fun, and very good quality. My current favorite is my “infidel” baseball shirt.
Now Neighborhoodies has “Readymades” which are designed by them but you get to pick your own shirt. Good so far.
Here’s the problem. I don’t “get” at least 75% of these and the ones I do “get” don’t seem very funny.
Truffle Shuffle? Nobody puts Swayze in a corner?
Help me here. Is it because I’m too old or because I’m a girl?

no…it’s not just you. I don’t get most of them either…but it may be related to our age more that to the XX thing.

Truffle Shuffle from the movie The Goonies one of the best movies from the 80′s! You don’t remember that? If you don’t I demand that you go out and watch it.
I think the Swayze one if a reference to he movie Road House but I might be wrong.

Never saw The Goonies. Couldn’t make it through the first half-hour of Road House…
um probably, but I think guys only watch Road house for the same reasons they watch Purple Rain, for the unintentional humor. That and they both can be drinking games.
I don’t know how old you are, but I think they’re pretty funny… but they are very “insider” when it comes to cult movies, TV shows, etc. When you do get it, it’s really cool…
Alas, I’m not really cool. Never was.
Neither are most of the people that get the jokes so don’t feel bad.
They are all from cult movies video games and anime, you know nerd stuff.

I like ordering custom shirts from Neighborhoodies but for original designs I pick Threadless.
