Can we protect the children?

Afghani police are raping young boys and Canadian soldiers are told to ignore it.
What rights are our soldiers fighting to protect? Is it enough to destroy the Taliban if the replacement is just a different type of evil? I don’t think so. After reading this article, I know that there is no easy answer but it’s simply unacceptable that coalition troops should be put in the position of allowing this to continue unchallenged.
