Watch out! The NFL is coming! The CFL is doomed!

Seriously.

Does the Canadian Senate not have anything better to do? Senator Larry Campbell has introduced a bill that would ban NFL teams from playing games in Canada. Why? To protect the CFL which is apparently so fragile that it needs the government to provide life support.

Must protect Canadian culture. Whatever that is.

This is the same boneheaded outlook that requires networks to broadcast the Canadian feed of any television shows if they are on at the same time as an American television feed. Ever accidentally taped an NTV feed of a show? Not a happy place.
