More fun with quotes from Obama’s big “I won the candidacy” speech last week.
“come together to remake this great nation“
Yep. You read it correctly. America is a great nation and Obama plans to remake it.
As Mark Steyn points out, this is remarkably close to the joke campaign speech provided by one of his readers:
“My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you’ll join with me as we try to change it.”
If you love America and believe it to be a great country, don’t vote for Obama. You might not recognize it if he’s elected.
On a related note, I’m with Steyn when he says “Every time I hear an Obama speech, I start to giggle.”
