My Daughter Discovers Comic Books

My daughter (#1) told me today that she has never been so happy.  She LOVES her new comic books SO much.  Seriously?  Never been so happy?  What?  All the times we went to the park, movies, museums, restaurants, to grandparents, to Disney freaking World!!!!!!!!! And an anthology of Hot Stuff comics is the best thing that has ever happened to her???????  Sigh.  Oh well.  At least I was the one that introduced her to Hot Stuff and Casper and Richie Rich.  She is not too keen on Archie.  Too young.  She likes little Lotta as well.  She really liked the Scamp comic I bought her a few weeks ago but it appears that the Richie Rich and Hot Stuff were the charm.  I just bought a few Spooky comics as well.  There are worse things right.  it’s not like we arn’t reading literature as well – we are currently in the middle of Treasure Island – which I am quite enjoying.  I can just see it…me…Ebay and comics – to forge a wonderful relationship.  I cannot wait until we move on to Tales From The Crypt!
