Patience is a lost virtue?
So, I was on a plane yesterday and the passenger in front of me was returning from a trip to Italy. She was talking to the lady across the aisle about a guy she was hoping to date. Apparently, he was not returning text messages. “Eleven days must be too long to wait.” The other woman said if he feels that way then she’s better off without him. The first woman agreed.
And what did he do that was so bad? He did not return a text message.
How long ago did she send the text message? Fifteen minutes.
She did finally remember that he was busy coaching soccer. She didn’t even consider that he might be driving or having dinner with someone or even talking on the phone. Maybe he didn’t want to be rude to the person he was actually with by answering a text message.
They aren’t even dating yet. That poor man should just run the other way.
eleven days is too long to wait for what?
I think she meant for him to wait for her to return from her trip. She seemed to think that he had decided to date someone else in her absence.
