BPA – it’s not just for babies anymore

May 16, 2008

BPA is also in the liners of soda cans and in dental sealants that are placed on your childrens’ teeth.  I am not an alarmist type but I will switch to bottled soda and make sure that if my children get sealants they will be BPA free.  I will also keep my canned goods down to a minimum until I hear that they are BPA free – no more Spaghettios.  No more Chef Boyaredee.  No more Campbell’s soup.

What really makes me ill is the fact that I drank Coke when pregnant, I used canned (and dry) fomula and Avent bottles (polycarbonate) and fed my kids Chef Boyardee and Campbell soup for lunch.  Basically – my kids are probably full of BPA.  Sickening.
