Ben Gurion’s proclamation of the new state of Israel: “We offer peace and amity to all neighboring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all. The State of Israel is ready to contribute its full share to “the peaceful progress and reconstruction of the Middle East.”
And then the Arab nations invaded Israel to destroy the new State and all the Jews in it.
And the Arabs failed.
