Since I’ve decided that the Rock ‘n Serve have to go, we need a new way to store leftovers and pack lunches.
Lucky day! I found a “Made in the USA” replacement — Pyrex dishes with vented lids.

Hey, thanks! Here I am, almost two years later, reading this post — and it’s perfectly timely for me. I, too, have a big collection of Rock N Serve stuff that I need to replace (the stupid lids don’t fit right anymore). My only problem is that I have sliding drawers under my counters instead of cupboards, and I need something light so that it doesn’t weigh down the drawers too much. Glass is just so darn heavy. However, I’ll look into the Pyrex alternative.
Sorry but Pyrex is glass. It’s just glass that is specially treated for use with heat.
