Islamo-fascists? Mujahadeen? Jihad? No way! Can’t be!

Shhh … if you don’t say the words, then we’ll be safe.
According to a federal government memo, the Bush administration wants federal employees to avoid using the terms “islamofascist”, “islamic terrorist”, “jihad”, and “mujahadeen”. Convoluted reasoning about why this is really a good thing is helpfully supplied.
Hmmm … seems to be more like plugging our ears and pretending that everything is okay. And this is what our government is doing. Imagine it with Obama or Hillary in office. (I may have just set myself up for a nightmare. Note to self: Limit blogging at bedtime.)
